Glenn Beck jokes about poisoning Nancy Pelosi, keeps job

Glenn Beck jokes about poisoning to death Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives -- you know, the person who is second in the presidential line of succession.

Is there a reason why this guy is still on TV? Can you imagine the right-wing reaction if a pundit had joked about poisoning Dennis Hastert or Newt Gingrich? At least the Washington Post removed the video where Dana Milbank called the Secretary of State a "mad bitch." It's not much integrity -- if the WaPo had any guts they'd just drop him -- but it's a start.

I was a little hopeful when I heard that the New York Times fired Ben Stein. But it wasn't for his awesomely intellectually dishonest columns; it was for a "conflict of interest" in shilling for a credit-reporting company. So it makes me wonder how far some of these other knuckleheads have to go before they're just as unemployed as I am.
