Profoundness: on the economics of being single

Frankly, the biggest problem with being single right now -- or at any time, really -- is not having an economic partner to help with bills and housework.

what's more, even when you're in a relationship, sometimes you have to take on a third housemate. We certainly do.

I don't know where I'd put a housemate, though I've certainly thought about it. I mean, I could go all out and have my daughter share my room, then put two boarders in her room and another in the livingroom, but that's a little too 19th century for me.
